Today on World Contraception Day, we pause to recognize family planning as an act of love, care, and responsibility. With reliable access to contraception, couples are able to prayerfully plan their families and welcome children into homes that are safe, stable, and nurturing.
Unfortunately, right now in Virginia, the right to contraception remains under threat. The Right to Contraception Act has passed the House and Senate with bipartisan support twice, but Governor Youngkin has vetoed it both times.
For pro-life Christians, supporting contraception is a no brainer. When pregnancies are planned, children are more likely to be welcomed into prepared, nurturing homes, and families are empowered to make thoughtful, life-affirming decisions.
That’s why nearly 60,000 Christians across Virginia have committed to pray that Governor Youngkin will join the majority of legislators and safeguard the right to birth control.
This World Contraception Day, we invite you to join us—and thousands of pro-life Christians across the state—in prayer to protect access to contraception in Virginia.
